Our PSA already handles billing. Why would we need this?

It does not know when vendor quantities changed, a Microsoft SKU was renamed, or an agreement drifted unless someone updated those billing lines correctly. Leakage Finder acts as a check on the systems by comparing vendor or distributor exports against PSA billing and showing the gap before invoices go out.

Yes, because even a handful of missed recurring items can matter. The Free plan gives you a low-friction way to validate the gap on your own exports, and the paid plans are there when monthly reconciliation becomes part of your regular workflow.

How does the 30-day trial work?

Accepted Answer

New paid customers get 30 days of full Starter or Pro access. Stripe collects a payment method when the trial starts, but nothing is charged until the trial ends. You can cancel from Billing before day 30 and you will not be charged. The introductory trial is available once per customer.

Setup sounds like a pain. What is actually involved?

There is no long implementation project. You sign in, upload a vendor or distributor export and a PSA billing export, review the flagged rows, and decide what to correct. It is built for review-and-approve, not a giant migration.

Do I need a PSA integration?

Accepted Answer

No. Leakage Finder is currently built around CSV exports. If your PSA can export billing lines with client, product, quantity, and price information, you can run a reconciliation without connecting directly to the PSA.

What if I already use Gradient, ConnectWise, or Zomentum?

Use Leakage Finder as a focused reconciliation check alongside the tools you already have. It compares vendor billing exports against PSA billing data and gives you a line-item review queue; it does not replace your PSA, quoting system, or billing process.

Is this a security or data leakage tool?

No. Leakage Finder is not DLP, cybersecurity monitoring, or data leak prevention software. The leakage here is missed MSP billing revenue: unbilled licenses, under-billed items, mismatched quantities, and orphaned records.

Is my data safe?

CSV files are parsed in the browser and saved runs store structured reconciliation results tied to your account, not raw CSV file uploads. Supabase row-level security scopes saved results to the signed-in user, and user data is not sold.

What happens if I find gaps and need to explain them to clients?

The output gives you a clean line-item review so you can see exactly which client, product, and quantity changed and what the monthly dollar impact is. That makes it easier to explain a billing correction as a reconciliation issue you found and fixed, instead of a vague pricing change.

No. Leakage Finder is intentionally review-and-approve, not blind writeback. It shows your team the mismatches, exports the findings, and lets you decide what should be corrected in the PSA.
